The
Chinese Kuoshu Institute (CKI) offer a varied training programme ranging
from Northern Shaolin to Internal Arts, and including
the most ancient of Chinese martial arts: Shuai Jiao.
The CKI
staff members are all practising martial artists. Many of who are undertaking
post-graduate research
into Chinese history; culture; art and philosophy. The
Instructors are qualified through the British Shuai Jiao
Union (BSJU)
and recognised by the European Shuai Jiao Union (ESJU); through and
the British Chinese Kuoshu Federation (BCKF) and recognised by the
International Chinese Kuoshu Federation (ICKF) and the World Kuoshu Federation (TWKSF);
and through the Chinese Kuoshu
Institute (CKI) recognised by the
British Council for Chinese Martial Arts, UK Sport and Sport England. All
Instructors are qualified at least to National Judge and National Coach
status under the BSJU, CKI and/or BCKF. Many CKI
instructors work with the BSJU and BCKF
to train other instructors up to
National Judge and Coach levels. The CKI also work with a number of associates
and partner organisations in the
UK and internationally who bring with
them complimentary skills and expertise. |
