One Community Project
Healthy Community Project
The CKI works on a voluntary basis to deliver a programme of activities which help to develop: coordination; strength; stamina; endurance; and a high standard of physical fitness, in line with promoting a positive attitude to exercise, physical and mental development. The CKI invites Team GB members to train with young people, as role models, to inspire confidence and a desire to achieve.
Anti Bullying Project
Young people say that bullying is amoung their top concerns. Bullying can make a victim's life a misery: it can undermine their confidence, self esteem and can destroy their sense of security. The CKI has a zero tolerance for bullying. The CKI believes that no one should suffer the indignity and pain that bullying can cause and works with young people to change the culture so that bullying, in any of its forms, is unacceptable. The Anti Bullying Project works on a voluntary basis to deliver a programme of activities to children and young people to tackle bullying. To inspire confidence and a desire to achieve, the CKI invites Team GB members to train with young people, as role models to demonstrate anti bullying behaviour.
